IPTV & OTT

Overview

If your ISP sells television or streaming, you can subscribe a customer to an IPTV or OTT pack from their profile, and view what they already have. These use the IPTV/OTT provider packs configured in your system (and linked to packages — see IPTV and OTT Packs).

IPTV/OTT can be bundled with the internet package, or recharged separately and manually here. Separate IPTV/OTT recharges have no automation — unlike the plan, they don't auto-renew. See Extras & Overrides.

Required Permissions

  • Subscriber → Recharge (IPTV / OTT).

Subscribers → (open a subscriber) → Recharge ▾ and Other Actions ▾

Recharge IPTV / Recharge OTT

Recharge ▾ → Recharge IPTV (or Recharge OTT) opens a dialog that mirrors the Recharge flow — you pick the pack/plan, set quantity, and complete the standard invoicing block (invoice/proforma, dates, tax, discount, taxes, grand total, wallet, remark). Saving subscribes the customer to the pack.

⚠ Subscribing or changing an IPTV/OTT pack calls the provider's system to activate service for the customer, so expect a short delay and confirm the pack before saving.

View current packs

From Other Actions ▾:

  • IPTV Packages — view the subscriber's current IPTV pack(s).
  • OTT Package (e.g. OTTplay / PlayBoxTv / Watcho) — view the subscriber's current OTT pack(s).

These are information views to check what the customer is entitled to.

What Happens After Subscribing

The pack is activated with the provider, an invoice/payment is recorded in Finance, and the customer gets the TV/streaming service.

Important Notes

  • IPTV/OTT options appear only when the provider integration is configured and the site's business type allows them.
  • Because these reach an outside provider, verify success before telling the customer it's live.
