Top-ups, Boosters & Add-ons
Overview
Beyond the main plan, you can sell a subscriber three kinds of extras from the Recharge menu:
- Add Top-up — extra data/time on top of the current plan.
- Add Speed Booster — a temporary speed increase.
- Add Addon — an optional paid feature/bundle (which can also carry IP settings).
These correspond to the Top-ups, Speed Boosters and Add-ons you create in the Packages module — here you apply them to a specific subscriber.
Required Permissions
- Subscriber → Recharge (top-up / booster / addon).
Navigation
Subscribers → (open a subscriber) → Recharge ▾
Add Top-up
Recharge ▾ → Add Top-up opens the top-up dialog:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Top-up | The top-up to apply. |
| Apply as FUP top-up | Count it toward FUP allowance rather than base data. |
| Invoice fields | Same invoicing block as Recharge — invoice/proforma, dates, tax no, subtotal, discount, taxes, grand total, round off, wallet. |
| Remark | Audit note. |
The top-up's data/time is added to the subscriber immediately.
Add Speed Booster
Recharge ▾ → Add Speed Booster opens the booster dialog:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Booster | The speed booster to apply. |
| Quantity | How many periods of boost. |
| Invoice fields | The standard invoicing block. |
| Remark | Audit note. |
A speed booster generates its own separate invoice. The subscriber's speed rises for the booster's allowed days, then the system automatically reverts them to the plan's native speed. The active booster shows against the package in the header's Quick Information. (For the unbilled equivalent, see Override Bandwidth.)
Add Addon
Recharge ▾ → Add Addon opens the addon dialog. As well as selecting the Addon, Quantity and the invoicing block, an add-on can carry IP configuration (for example a static-IP add-on):
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Addon | The add-on to apply. |
| Quantity | Number of units/periods. |
| IPv4 Mode / Static IPv4 Pool / Address | Assign a static IPv4, if the add-on grants one. |
| IPv6 Prefix / Delegation (enable, pool, value) | Assign IPv6, if granted. |
| Invoice fields | The standard invoicing block. |
| Remark | Audit note. |
What Happens After Applying
The extra is applied at once, any invoice/payment lands in Finance, and the effect (extra data, higher speed, static IP…) shows in the header.
Important Notes
- ⚠ Like recharge, these can take real payment.
- A Speed Booster is temporary; a Top-up changes allowance — pick the right one for the customer's need.
- An Add-on that grants a static IP needs a free address in the chosen pool.
